They could have taken the content away even if there wasn't DLC, hell they take away crucible modes all the time. And add new ones.
My favorite map was removed months ago. I can't claim it's a bad business practice for that can I? I payed for that map right? Wrong, Bungie can add or remove content as they like.
You people don't complain when your given new content that you never paid for, but you complain when some is taken away.

no maps were removed. just moved to another mode. It pissed me off as well, but it was still there to play.

I'm sure you played or at least heard of Halo right? Are you aware that you can no longer play the Xbox version online anymore? They just up and took away the online content!! What's worse is they re released the game! You have to buy it again if you want to play halo online again?! It's like a paywall!!! Where's all the outrage here? It's the same concept right? I bought halo 2 but I can't play the online content without buying the MC collection and a console. Maybe I should file a complaint right???
