Total get your point (I'm not a ttk whiner ) but the main difference is that netflix is a subscription as to where people actually purchased the game. But yeah buy the expansion or git gud. Don't know why anyone would want to continue playing without it.

If you go read the EULA, you'll find you also pay a subscription. You did not purchase the game. You purchased a liscence to ACCESS the game. You have a digital liscence tied to either the disk and your account, or the digital file and your account, which grants you access to the game service. The EULA clearly states that this service will be changed to the discretion of Bungie, and that continued content purchase will be required to access all of the game.

Yeah I mean I don't really give a shit because I bought it. I think the big problem is that destiny's demographic is mixed between FPS players and mmo player. As a lifelong mmo player I'm used to this progression. Fps players just want to level up and be guaranteed gear.

Technically they can lock any content they want and redistribute it at any given time. Like they do with the iron banner and the Queens wrath. They could lock all content and only release a few things here and there each week. It's their game their rules. Don't have to like it, don't have to agree with it. I understand it. Just don't care for the tactic, but alot of games are going the way of dlc's and expanded game play.

You didn't purchase the game. You purchased a ticket that gets you entry to the game. Big difference

^ this. You get it my friend. You understand.

Lots of squeakers here that think just bc they paid for something, they suddenly own it.

Exactly. It is not 2004 anymore. Gaming as a platform is the future, and while their are definetly some changes, people will realise it is ultimately the better option.
