[b]Andrew wakes up in Sector-2, wondering what happened. The addiction is gone, and the only weird thing he feels is the massive headache... He gets back up, and slowly walks towards Centra. When he arrives, he looks for a back-alley clinic to examine him.[/b]

As you navigate the alleyways eventually you find a semi hidden door with a red cross painted on it, a clinic.

[b]He heads in, and sits down in the lobby.[/b]

Upon opening the door you immediately see the doctor treating a red headed patient for several cuts and bruises on his face and hands. "This is what happens when you go picking fights downtown" "I don't need the lectures Doc, and for the last time they just came up to me and asked me to empty me pockets like they own the damn place of somethin'" "Well, but you didn't necessarily have to call out their mothers and their lack of in-taught discipline upon their children now did you?" "Of it's a wee bit late for regrets" The doctor finishes up and looks at you. "Well, you don't exactly look to be limping. Tell me what ails you"

"I was addicted to something, now I wake up in Sector-2, massive headaches, and addiction is gone."

Both the doctor and the other patient have a look of shock and ambivalence on their face. "Please tell me it wasn't KAP-8" says the doctor.

[b]He backs up slowly...[/b] "What??? Why???? What does Kap-8 do???????"

The doctor brings his hand to his face and pinches his brow. The red headed person chimes in. "Turns you into a psion, an artificial one. Chances are one in .... " "One in several thousand, if you go by probabilities one person turns into a psion after 3,978 pills on average" The doctor finishes. "Thanks doc" The red headed person turns to you and smiles. "Congratulations"

[b]His face shows an expression of horror, which quickly becomes an expression of anger.[/b] "Cure. Where is it? How do I get it?"

The red headed lad laughs. "There is no cure. You think thousands would want to live with the stress of being a psion if there was a cure available?"

[b]He begins walking out, and stops in the doorway, turning his head.[/b] "Im going to find one, and Im going to get rid of this. Even if its the last thing I do. Born a human, die a human. Thats the way Im keeping it." [b]he leaves, and for the rest of the day, he doesnt eat much, and tries to avoid Kap-8. [/b]

The doctor turns to Zhackie, as if looking for an expected reaction. "I wish I had that type of optimism" He says as he lights a cigarette. "Born human, die human. Rude bastard, implying psions ain't human" Zhackie says as he grabs his coat. "His choices now are either accept what he's become or die in denial" "You know, I expected a bit more of sympathy out of you. I always thought you psions had the brother-band thing going on" Zhackie scoffs. "Some do, I'm not one" He uploads his fee(-25C) and leaves for the door. "Seeya round doc"

[b]as he leaves, he sees Andrew climb up onto a fire escape, and someone on a rooftop reaches down to help him up. He grabs the hand and they hoist him up.[/b]

[b]He bumps into Ryan, who is heading towards centra[/b]

[b]He keeps walking, determined to get there as fast as he can.[/b]

[b]Ryan keeps going, headed into the danger zone[/b]

[b]He looks to see Ryan once before disappearing into a crowd of people.[/b]
