This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]

• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507

• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

Hi Bungie, over the last few days i keep getting kicked from my fireteam, regardless of what i was doing. i end up back in orbit every 10 minutes. the problem doesn't seem to have a pattern as I can go without seeing the issue for hours then it suddenly starts acting up. If it persists then the game becomes unplayable.

I am a long time hardcore destiny player. I preordered taken king and have been playing since the day it dropped. 2 days ago I all of the sudden started being told I need to buy taken king to continue playing. Now in order to play the game I paid money for already sometimes I have to dashboard sometimes I just have to go to the tower then back to orbit. #BNGhelp please fix this problem my gt is DTSfrenzy on Xbox 360. I should not have to even see this error.

So I have had TTK since day one and have play it every day since it came out.. I've done everything I can with my hunter and Titan now moving on to my warlock.as I've loaded up the game I've got a big message across the screen saying my trial has run out and that I need to purchase the TTK again(really not happy at this point!!!) So I close the big message and now I can't access any content involving the TTK. Bungie please tell me what's happening with my game and fix the problem please. It's an utter piss take if I have to buy it again!!! (which I won't if that's the case)

Sometimes my Destiny says I don't own the Taken King expansion so I have to restart my game to fix it, why is this happening?

I was unable to access the daily heroic yesterday because it "required eris quest completion". Same for that mission today on heroic as well as siege of the warmind on heroic. I am a new player, level 40 light 297 on my toon, but i have done all available quests from The Dark Below with her aside from the raid. One of my year-one buddies mentioned some quests of hers got cut out in the update. If this is what's keeping me from those heroics what should i do? I'm ps3 and purchased the legendary edition retail disc.

I am, still having the issue with getting kicked out of am mission, strike and pvp, saying I been kicked out of a fireteam, but I am not in one. I been asking about this issue. I can't even enjoy this game, as much as I want too. There is a lot I want to do. :( i feel like there is nothing I can do to fix this. I really need some help here

My son, friend, and I got a splash screen saying we reached the trial levels and if we wanted to unlock more levels then we'd have to purchase the expansions. My friend and I both have Legendary Edition & my son has Darkness Below & House of Wolves. Why the splash screen? It prompted us to purchase what we already have. This happened last night; 7 OCT 15

Where do you get or start the quest for No Time To Explain exotic at? Because it doesn't show up in the armory and also i saw it in a video was woundering if it was glitched or something?

I'm getting real tired of having to clear my cache and re download everything everyday! This is crap I spent good money to be able to play this game and yet every day I have to re download the game everyday to have access to the game I paid for!

When I logged in today it asked me to purchase TTK and I'd reached the max light level. I've never demoed the game and ignored the warning and everything is fine, but thought it was worth a mention

In the last few days the game has repeatedly told me to purchase TTK even though I already own the digital for my 360 what is this glitch? It temporarily locks me out of everything until I restart my Xbox every time as of late. Is this a known issue?

I purshase the physical copy with the 3 digital code for the expension (dlc). The download and the installation went good and i was able to play destiny and the dlc. But the second time i launch destiny (with the physical disc) the start screen ask me to buy the game because my level was the maximum.. for the DEMO? What happend? It is a serious bug! I have the disc in my console with the update and all dlc content intalled and the game think i only own a demo? What sup with that?

Hey there's a bug where I can't do any dark below missions on Heroic difficulty I've been locked out I own the TTK but I am unable to do the daily heroic I went to the mission archives and I have none abandon

I joined another player to do the Fears Embrace, we finished it but I never got credit for the mission.

I recently purchased the Destiny game which includes Taken King and the other addons and used the spark of light on on of my new characters. I had no idea that you could only use it once and I deleted that character to go with a different class. Well, now I don't have the 25 levels and apparently there's no such thing as Bungie contact, so am I screwed, or can someone help me?

Can you explain why my sword reforged quest has been reset!! I had 53% on void kills and 5 crystal relics logged on and it's been RESET! Are you kidding me bungie sort your selves out!!
