[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps: - From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application - Press the Menu button on your controller - Select "Manage Game" - Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side) • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition. • Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.     • HAVE ORIGINAL COLLECTOR'S EDITION AND ALL OF IT'S EXTRAS. ALSO, PRE-ORDERED TTK. IT'S BEEN A MONTH AND NOTHING!!!!! RECEIVED SPARK OF LIGHT ON ONE CHARACTER, MY WARLOCK. USED SPARK OF LIGHT, BOOSTED MY LEVEL BUT NOTHING, I REPEAT NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER THAT!!!! THE GEAR I HAD EQUIPPED FROM LOWER LEVELS WAS BETTER THAN WHAT I RECEIVED AND IT WAS LEVEL 22!!! TTK QUESTS STILL AREN'T ACCESSIBLE, OH YEAH, AND ON TOP OF THAT I STILL CAN'T LEVEL PAST 34, EVEN THOUGH SPARK OF LIGHT SAYS SPECIFICALLY THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO LEVEL TO 40 AND WOULD BE ABLE TO DO TTK QUESTS. WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!!!!!!! I UNDERSTAND THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS GAME, BUT WHEN HAS IT EVER MADE SENSE THAT THIS MANY PEOPLE ARE BEING IGNORED? IT NEVER HAS!!!!! UNLESS YOU'RE AFTER MONEY THAT IS......SMALL HELP TEAM, HUGE NUMBER OF PROBLEMS = PAST PLAYERS SPENDING MONEY THEY DIDN'T INTEND ON SPENDING. NOT TO MENTION THE INSANE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT INTO THE HYPE WAYYYY BACK AND SPENT AN OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THIS GAME. IF THIS WAS ON PC WITH MULTIPLE WORLDS, GALAXIES, ETC THEN MAYBE IT SHOULD COST AS MUCH AS IT HAS, BUT THE FACT STILL REMAINS: THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN BUNGIE/ACTIVISIONS MAIN SUPPORTERS ARE GETTING IT IN THEIR BACK ENDS, WITH LACK OF LUBE, AND "IT" LOOKS TO BE A CACTUS. HONESTLY, I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO LET DOWN BY A GAME. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SOMETHING EPIC, AND IT'S TURNED OUT TO BE A GIANT FLOP FOR THE OLD PLAYERS, AND A GOLD MINE FOR THE NEWER PLAYERS. ALL I'VE NEEDED SINCE TTK IS HELP, BUT CAN ANYONE ANSWER ME ON HERE; MIND YOU, THAT WORKS FOR BUNGIE. NOPE.......CAN I GET A REASONABLE RESPONSE TIME, NOPE.......COULD I SIMPLY GET THE GAME TO WORK. NOPE.......HALO HAD MORE BACKGROUND TO IT, AND ALL YOU DID WAS RUN AROUND KILLING THINGS. THIS GAME, YOU RUN AROUND AND DO THE SAME THING, ONLY WITH A LARGE LACK OF STORY, SO BASICALLY IT'S LIKE HALO IF YOU TAKE OUT 3/4THS THE CUTSCENES, ADD SOME HYPE THAT IS A LOAD OF B/S, AND THEN THROW A WRENCH INTO MIX. BUT I GOTTA SAY, WHAT A WAY TO MAKE MONEY. FRIENDS OF MINE THAT COULD AFFORD IT, SPENT MONEY ON TTK: COLLECTOR'S EDITION AND THEY HAVE MINIMAL TO NO PROBLEM. IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE. LIST OF THINGS I'VE DONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM: 1)DELETE AND REINSTALL 2)DOUBLE CHECK, AND MANUALLY INSTALL EVERYTHING ELSE 3)DELETE AND REINSTALL ON A LATER DATE, THINKING THAT THINGS WOULD BE GETTING FIXED DUE TO SO MANY ISSUES 4)MADE NEW CHARACTERS, ALL NEW, AND THEN RECEIVED ONE LITTLE SPARK OF LIGHT 5)USED SPARK OF LIGHT AFTER STEPS 1-4 6)DELETED AND REINSTALLED AGAIN, NOTHING CHANGED 7)PLEADED FOR BUNGIE TO DO SOMETHING 8)GAWKED AT THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE HAVING ISSUES, AND THE NUMBER OF ISSUES PEOPLE WERE HAVING 9)REALIZED THAT A CACTUS, LACKING LUBE, WAS NOW BEING RAMMED INTO SEVERAL PEOPLES' POSTERIORS 10)POSTED THIS, AND NOW AWAITING REPLY, HAVING DONE EVERYTHING I COULD TO TRY AND MAKE THINGS WORK WITHOUT RESORTING TO BUYING TTK AGAIN!!!!

                  • You know they are 46 fragments now, one of the missing 5 was found last week. I got my touch of malice without using the charged agonarch rune for my warlock yesterday.

                    • Just beat oryx . On 10,13,15 and the update kicked us out before we hit the chest. That means they took 20 moldering shards from us for nothing and no rewards.So what happens now. We return to postmaster ,to see if we got screwed. All we needed was 10 seconds to hit chest. Bungie try to help.
