I see a lot of shit about how each can destroy the galaxies and blah blah blah. Halo wins because they can survive indefinitely in completed shield worlds. Checkm8 Star Wars

Stuff like that exists in Star Wars as well, sooo... Also, I'll see your shield world and raise you a space station surrounded by Black Holes. Star Wars wins

Edited by U5875747: 9/13/2015 9:14:44 PMI don't think you understand what a shield world is. The main component of the Shield World is a Dyson Sphere, named The Sharpened Shield, which is located within a Slipspace bubble of compressed space-time. In normal space, the bubble has a diameter of only a few meters. The only way to access the bubble is a small portal in real-space, the Core Room Antechamber. It is located at the center of the artificial planet. You can't destroy them...

Ah, I thought you were talking about a world like Requiem (much closer to the traditional idea of a Dyson Sphere). Having gone and done research, are there any worlds like the Onyx installation that are specifically mentioned as having this level of advanced protection, or is it the only one? Also, it can still be entered, can't it?

In the story, the Spartans blew up the way in so if it was used as a refuge they could bar the way in.
