I have smoked nearly daily since I was 16 and have never smoked cigarettes. When I turned 30 last year I had a checkup on my lungs that revealed that I have ZERO lung damage after all this time. I attribute this to my active lifestyle and the fact that we don't really fully understand the effects that marijuana has on our bodies. I am a card-holder in my state and I fully support the legalization of all drugs for many different reasons.

Well the fact that you're inhaling smoke, regardless of the kind, should have some effect on lungs...
-
"Should" being the key word. Carcinogens can be significantly minimized by smoking through water, and can be eliminated completely by vaporizing. I love to smoke a bong and then go for a 40 mile bike ride; which might seem crazy to some, but is pure bliss for me.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself bro.
-
I don't have to tell myself anything, I'm perfectly healthy and happy. Thanks for insightful comment though.
-
"Of all drugs" This is the reason why even one drug shouldn't be legalised
-
I know it is a little too deep for you to understand, but I don't believe that the government has any place regulating what we do to our own bodies.

Edited by III URBAN III: 9/13/2015 3:14:09 AMYou don't understand the gravity of the situation There's crackheads out there that pass their addictions on to kids in the womb, theres people out their so hooked on drugs that they get their kids taking it and loads of dark shit like that. You need to think of the wider implications, people can't be trusted
-
I do understand the situation and I stand by my statement. I wrote my senior thesis on the legalization of drugs, and argued it in front of a former FBI agent; so I'm pretty well versed in the implications. Education and regulation would save far more lives than prohibition, and there is historical evidence to back me up if you care to dig a little deeper.
-
I don't need historical evidence, all I need to do is look around various places today and see that the people that get hold of it abuse it. You can't educate people that don't want to listen.
-
I completely agree with your last sentence.
-
But a lot of drugs are legal
-
The hard drugs ain't legal where I live mate lol
-
Alcohol and tobacco aren't legal? Let's not forget about the never ending list of opioid based prescription drugs
-
Yeah they ain't bad though, they hardly make you hallucinate or start cutting out your hair and weird shit like that
