When I was a kid there was no online. You're just asking people what they liked over the past few years.

When I was a young teen, online games were just starting out and Runescape was probably my favorite of those. However, before that, I never had any online experience, it was all about that mario, starfox, and Banjo Kazooie hype! (As well as Pokémon and a few others of course)
