Legislating for the week minded is an ass-backwards way to go about anything, period. Not everyone is informed enough to deserve the right to vote, but we give everyone the right anyway because the alternative would be even more -blam!-ed up than a bunch of ignorant half-wits deciding the leader of the most powerful nation on earth. So the point is that we strive to inform people rather than ban them from doing complicated things, as it should be. You can't just ban people from doing things you don't want them to do, the key is education. If you're right about what you teach then you're golden, the only thing you should ever worry about with such a system is if you're wrong, it's the only way proper education won't result in what you want.
