Isn't it ironic that in all legalization debates, the opposing party considers the stoners to be unintelligent, brain dead, and unable to form their own informed opinions, yet the only semi intelligent responses come from the "stoners"? Opposers use arguments as well informed and intelligent as "marijuana is bad for you" and "it makes people act stupid and drive dangerously" and "other drugs will be pushed for legalization" without any sort of evidence to back their statements. While the stoners respond with these long and scientific counters, only to be debated by more ignorance.

Lol, too true. The fact is that pot probably (okay definitely) knocks off a few IQ points when you're stoned, but if you're smart in the first place then a few IQ points still leaves you with plenty to spare (and dumb people of course have fewer to begin with and get noticeably dumber, to stereotypical results). There are smart and stupid people on both sides of the conversation, and too often people against legalization are dismissive of those who are for it as being stupid potheads without actually having a clue what the -blam!- they're talking about.
