Is it feasible that the IX are the last surviving ahamkara? Is the traveler only damaged on the bottom in a shockwave effect because he is the darkness damaged by rasputins plan? And finally.why has no one touched on the fact that the effect for the taken has existed in destiny since day one? More recently it was the effect on quodran, and more interesting it's the effect used when the black gardens heart possessed the final vex minds.

Not a lore bid but for the traveller there's this theory. A ghost in the Grimoire states that the tRaveller was hit by a thousand blades. (Something close to that) Rasputin's weapon to protect earth with was a gravity spike generator which cuts like a thousand blades. So some have concluded that when the darkness was upon us Rasputin fired on the Traveller to wound it and stop it abandoning us like it did the Fallen. Basically Rasputin made it stay and fight. Due to the damage of Rasputin's attack as well as fending of the darkness the traveller went into a standby mode until it could repair itself creating Ghosts to create guardians to help the process by stopping minions of the darkness giving the traveller time to heal. True or not your guess is as good as mine but it's a neat lil theory.

very human way of thanking about the traveler, but the only way this would be true if is Rasputin knew the darkness was coming before the traveler did which seems far fetched considering the darkness was its enemy before it ever got here

Hmmm very interesting.... Especially since rasputins final protocol was to kill off almost all humans and have the ghost revive them...if the ghost were made by the travelers last dying breath and Rasputin inadvertently put him in sleep mode,could that mean Rasputin by extension created the ghost?

Just gonna correct you on a few things here. The Traveler herself said that a million-bladed knife cut her. She also intended to stay and fight in our system

Thanks for the correction like I said I'm no lore buff so what input was merely a theory I read that someone else had come up with. Also is the traveller confirmed as a female or is that just the gender it's been given?

It may have been the Darkness in an attempt to destroy her, or it may have been Rasputin attempting to drive the Darkness back using her Light. Qodron and the Sol Progeny are not Taken. Qodron is simply powered by more Darkness than other Vex, and the Sol Progeny are vessels for the Heart. Taken are created by Oryx in order to bend the universe to his will

Thank you very much sir.on a side note,I knew the taken are exclusive to oryx and unrelated to the Sol progency or whatever( can't ever spell it right) and quodron, Ive just always questioned if the dark heart was the only of its kind
