Never beat skolas. Not because I couldn't.. But because of the fact that the rewards didn't justify the time spent doing it. If the HoW weapons were really better than VoG or CE weapons.. I'm in. But they weren't.

Time may have been a factor.. Fire team / friend availability never seemed to line up. The 6 of us would raid a lot but some of them had little interest in PoE. Then a few had kids, etc. I'm not a fan of random lfg, personally. A lot of bad experiences. If anything, it'd be laziness and I didn't see the rewards as being worth the hassle. I'm sure I'll do it eventually but I'm not stressing over an emblem

I hear yah. If you don't like LFG but have a hard time playing with RL friends, check out the100.io Its a site with battle companies of 100 players each, and I've never really had a bad experience with it or the people on there. You can schedule activities and easily find people with similar tastes to play with :)

Skolas was hard, but nowhere near impossible. You say it wasnt worth it? I think that the elemental primaries it dropped were completely worth the time and effort. I have ALL of them except for the void scout rifle and they are ALL beast! I will continue to -blam!- skolas on a weekly basis until I get it. So saying it wasn't worth the time sounds more like u aint got da skeelz...

Right because not doing one activity in a game means you don't know how to play. Makes sense.

I beat Skolas nine times before getting bored of HoW and spending the summer playing other games. I can say with confidence that the rewards were not worth. None of those guns hold a candle to their VoG/CE counterparts. I mean, seriously...Shank burn???

I always parse that as "skank burn" and want to recommend a soothing ointment for users of those weapons...
