What's brother vances background ? And what about the lighthouse? There's a dead vex and a bed n some other stuff in the secret area and a ship and a shit ton of glimmer. ???

Brother Vance is simply one of many of Osiris's disciples; he was chosen to represent the Cult and monitor the Trials. Many, if not all, of the Cult are blind, but that doesn't mean they can't see. The Lighthouse is an abandoned outpost for the Cult of Osiris, but it has since been abandoned. The Cult is receiving aid and supplies from some City foundry, most likely Hakke or Cassoid, based off of the color scheme of the ship.
