Verok was his consort, but I don't know what happened to her. Oryx wanted to make a show of Alak-Hul, locking him in the Sunless Cell for eternity

Yes that is true as well ,though I wonder why Alak hul Rebelled against oryx it must have been something pretty major to cause an entire civil war
