Good points. I especially agree with the 'Destiny's weapons are infinitely more meaningful to players than any MMO weapons could ever hope to be, in that they actually have a direct impact on how they play the game; they're more than just stat-increases.' I actually agree with the nerfing of year one weapons, though, as I firmly believe there were too many that had no real drawbacks which harmed possible future gear progression. I don't agree with how it was done or leaving a shed load of weapons behind in year 2. Nerf/buff accordingly, but let us bring them forward.

  • Gives our year 1 a fitting send off AS (if) we find better weapons... Then it is up to the devs to make better ones we want. Their current method is a forced reset...
