Personally ive done both warlock subclass quests and just about done my dead orbit quest which i will now stop doing... Bungie have said...

I've only done my gunslinger quest just by playing the game over the past 2 days. I got the cloak but no emblem. It kinda does suck that they won't be at least giving us a way to "re-earn" the emblems. It's not the end of the world but kinda sucks to miss out on something just because I played the game the way they intended. We'll see though, I'm sure there'll be a way to get it somehow

That is my plan; there's nothing to be gained anyway by doing activities now (except to say "yeah, I've tried that"). I'm cool with most of the update, but if important parts won't work until next week, then until next week I wait. (besides, I've played Destiny nearly every day for hours at a time; I could probably use a break :-\)

Eh, guess I'll wait to hand it in for a few days then... Not finished any of them beyond kill enemies yet. I mean, surely they'll grant rewards when you hand them in not when you complete them?

19 RepliesThe faction based quests have nothing to do with the subclasses, I have completed all 6 subclass quests and received rewards for all of them, they are specifically talking about FACTION based quests (ie DO NM FWC)

2 RepliesHow do you get said quests? I only declared on one character to a faction so far as it would be stupid to abandon Vanguard Rep halfway through ranking on my other characters.

Did people not check the emblem Kiosk? There are 9 new subclass based emblems, and the requirements listed say that you earn them by completing the subclass quests.

You get the exotic class item for the respective faction not an emblem

I honestly don't give a flying -blam!- about the emblem, I finished my gunslinger, bladerdancer and defender and I'm about to finish the striker, voidwalker and sunsinger quests. For the factions I finished my dead orbit one and I'm working on my new monarchy, factions won't glitch out like the emblems because when you finish it, it'll just ask you to come back later ( AKA the 15th )

Bro. The third subclass will have a quest line as well and we'll be able to get all the rewards from that. Or replay these from the terminal next week.

Bungie drop these quests with the 2.0 weapon update for us to go and play and now all of a sudden they tell us " oh ye sorry guys but if you finish them now you dont get all the rewards" What a -blam!-ing joke.
