Guide to reaching 300 light in TTK!
1. Reach level 40
2. Farm marks
3. Get 280 light legendary gear
4. Repeat until you have the legendary gear you want to infuse
5. Get exotic class item with 290 defense (might take the longest of all of these)
6. Infuse into armor piece
7. Farm marks again
8. Buy exotic class item from collection
9. Repeat steps 6-8 until all armor has 290 defense
10. Get exotic sword with 310 attack(pretty sure you get one from a quest line)
11. Infuse into weapon of your choice
12. Farm marks again
13. Buy exotic sword from collection
14. Repeat steps 11-13 until all weapons have 310 attack
(Speculation) kinda hoping since you have fewer items with attack stats, weapons have a greater weight in the light system
15. Wreck taken in the raid and guardians in Trials 2.0

4 RepliesYou can only get the exotic class items by buying the collectors edition. The only other exotic class items are the faction ones

Doesn't infusing only apply to the same kind of gear? Heavies to heavies, primaries to primaries, etc?

Wait u can only infuse gear with same type gear, so swords only work for heavies right? Same for class items

How do you farm marks? All I can get marks from are Daily stuff, nf, and weekly. Is there another consistent way?

The first several steps to this guide are wrong. It might work for one or two pieces but if you just play the game (strike playlist, dailies etc) you will get legendaries and blues. Take the 290 plus blues and infuse them into your legendaries. Simple as that.
