Re. Mercy Rule

Before I'm branded as someone jumping on the bandwagon of those hating upon the mercy rule, I'd like to clarify that I still want it implemented in the game but just in a different manner. After only playing around 20 matches of rift, 13 of those matches have ended in the mercy rule coming into effect (on my other account for those pedantic enough to check my profile, I have since played more, along with friends, using this account). The rule, at least in my experience, has not lead to more balanced matches nor an "end to player's misery" as they get crushed by clearly more talented (or OP weapon abusive) players. No, the mercy rule has simply lead to me spending more time navigating menus and waiting for Crucible lobbies to begin. There are some matches where I am on the losing team and I don't want the game to end or I'm on the winning team and we are in that position because opposing players decide to spawn camp (in THEIR spawn) and we rightfully destroy them on the scoreboard. As I can see, the mercy rule has already failed to do 2/3 jobs (end of match rewards is definitely a +ve) and actually decreases the amount of time spent playing in the crucible. My suggestion is simple, make the mercy rule kick in when the number of opponents on one team reaches below or equal to 30% of the other team's players. ie. a team of 6 vs a team of 2 ends in the mercy rule (n.b this won't effect trials as a 3v1 equates to 33.33...%). I understand if the score exceeds more than 11K that the rule should also be implemented but in it's current state I think that too many matches, Shaxx is calling the shots. If you agree or disagree with me and/or have any other suggestions feel free to contribute!
