Ok you don't want there to be really unbalanced matches, I get it. Yay for slaughter rules yay for mercy rules.
What you seem to be missing is some of us guardians don't want to be treated like babies, forcefully ushered to orbit and sent off to find an "easier" matchup that us poor, unskilled, wittle guardians can handle.
It feels insulting. It feels like a slap in the face on top of the humiliating loss we just received, and the worse part? We went 21-10 and the rest of our team had a .34 kd with 1 capture.
So if you want to have your mercy rules fine, but instead of "slaughtering" the entire losing team, why don't you just remove the under performing guardians and replace them with new guardians so that those of us who like a challenge can DECIDE if we want to keep playing?
Slaughter Rules: if you fail to score over 65% of the necessary points to win a crucible match, the entire lobby dissolves to matchmaking. A lot of people don't know this is happening
EDIT: Holy crap I am not suggesting booting people mid game and adding guardians in the middle of a blowout. I am saying that once the match is over don't eject the good players to matchmaking. Kick the under performers and get those guardians the reinforcements they deserve.

It separates everyone

How exactly is match makeing done anyhow? Does it mix and match players till the average k/d is the same for each 6 person team? If so that may not be enough, I think 6 average players would out do 2 above average and 4 lower then average.....needs to be like it was in school playground....top player A, second top player B, third B, fourth A, fith A, sixth B. Ect....

What happen to the crucible being "no place for mercy." I guess not with 2.0
-
Lol yes kick people out of matches to bring in New people to get shit on when the other team is supered up and probably has heavy. Sounds like a great idea. No the mercy rule is great, tired of waiting for one guy to quit when he's down by 10k.

As the guy who's getting the shuffle from game to game: I'm fine with it if the under performers would be grouped together instead of dumped into another advanced group. Otherwise, we'll endlessly get shuffled. Overall? Bad idea, you'd Jack up the play flow, & ppl could still get stuck in no win games late.
-
That doesn't solve a lot of people's biggest gripe with crucible, in that no one wants to be put in that game if half your team is mercy booted, the mercy rule also somehow locks the lobby, I forget the specifics but it's in that weekly update

I see your perspective im gonna miss playing solo control and not being able to turn up when I need to.

Edited by JordanANello23: 9/8/2015 12:16:56 AMIf more people played with mics I'd be down for switching new guys in, but there's such a lack of coordination and team play as is, without new guardians coming in. My hoping that I'll never be on one of them unfortunate teams haha, it rarely happens does it not?
-
Nope, I'm still for the mercy rule. I don't really leave games where I join and they're already losing but I'd much rather not have to join them at all.

Come on someone must have an opinion on this
