Bitter | Outskirts of Perth Hampton
What a cold cold night. So brisk, so snowy. Even for the temperate bay, it was rare for snow to form in Perth. But it was perfect.
Perfect to see how much blood could be spilt before her enemies fell. Perfect to count the number of steps she'd take. It was all a picture perfect setting for her evening entertainment.
The lady drew her estoc, brimming violet with a harrowing hum and hypnotic hue. She combed her beach blonde locks with her hand, adorned in an elbow-long satin manchette. A short skirt and high boots, fully ornamental, gave her the flexibility as any combat suit. But pride made a point: she had to look her best for this reunion.
June Bellicose, the violet lady, stands with a grimace of anticipation by the gates of Perth Hampston.
"Oh woe is me, and woe alas: it seems I just can't let this pass,
I wish for combat, I want to fight, who will come and see me tonight?"
Her laugh is as pious and prideful as the day she entered this god-forsaken land.
WELCOME BACK BITCHES!
Stories are nothing more than tales to sow fear. Legends are exaggeration. It'd be foolish to fully believe all that you hear. The Courier and Phoenix have mentioned him before.
-
She chuckles under her breath before addressing you again. "The man's a c*nt. And one hell of a fighter..."
-
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 9/9/2015 2:03:57 AMI've gleaned much the same from the Courier and Phoenix.
-
*A .408 CheyTac round rips through the air and kneecaps you, a familiar chaotic mind mingles with yours, as if to disturb you* Bitch, you should've stayed dead.
-
"Pot, meet kettle." The voice is oddly pleasant, as you see June smiling, her legs intact. It's only after a brief moment that the bullet made contact with an inhuman joint. Before her, you see the amputated leg of a spider, the base of the appendage shuddering in spasms behind June. "Missouri, Missouri, don't you know that comma are much safer to use as phones? I can sense your demons from miles away."
-
Edited by AgentMizzmo: 9/7/2015 4:00:38 AMThat ain't the demon. He's gone. All you sense... *I appear behind you, slamming your head into a wall* ... is my anger.
-
She moans in pain as she removes her forehead from the golden colored bricks of the gateway. Only mild scratches and cuts retexture her face; her smile grows as she turns to face you again. "My oh my, I must've really struck a nerve with you. Did I do something naughty to you, or are you just hopping on the anti-me bandwagon?" June takes a few steps forward, admiring her opponent. Much like a Python, she begins circling you as she speaks, moving in odd steps. "I honestly can't remember if you were someone I hurt or not."
-
You tore my home part piece by piece, you orchestrated Wilson killing Cobalt, you caused people to rebel against you which resulted in the death of my family. You pushed me to go and solve some other problems, to look away from the chaos, instead, I ended up getting possessed by a demon, then getting manipulated by that demon myself. So yes, Ms. Bellicose, I have reasons. Very legitimate reasons. *I draw my swords and wait, still not looking at your face directly*
-
"That last one hardly seems like my problem. Perhaps you should bring that up with your contractor." She formally bows to you, mocking the casual vernacular in which you speak to her. "I hear Felix is still very mad that I managed to beat the best he had to throw at me. If you're the next step up, I'll let you go on the grounds that you tell him to come down here personally so I can kill him myself."
-
*I laugh audibly* You aren't worth the dirt in his shoe. And neither is your pet spider. Or is it the other way around? Are you the spider's pet? Either way, I'm not here because someone told me to, I'm here because you need to feel pain. And Lots of it.

"OH HELL NAW" Makes a run for the rpgs.

A series of high-altitude ballistic missiles are launched directly at Perth Hampton, loaded with fuel-air warheads.
Muhehehe.
-
The missiles are intercepted by the Goliath, who swats them out of the sky with ease. Any debris or shrapnel is caught by the barriers of magic around the city.

Edited by Ex PI: 9/7/2015 3:35:52 AM
Wait, so is this the same timeline as before or not? Can we have the same characters/factions, and are the events like the old Boss Fights still part of the timeline?
-
Same characters and premise, but it's a fresh start. You can keep your character for the sake of having ties to the main characters, but it's really a new thread.
-
Then why are JJ and June talking like the Boss fight in the woods still happened?
-
Because it's history. It makes both characters have depth.
-
Oh. Ok. Carry on then.
-
*A gunship swoops overhead, leaving her hair and adornments scattered and unbecoming. When the dust settles, a man in bright orange armor is seen. He has a cannon attached to his harm, and he is aiming at her.* "Hello again, bitch. We never got to even start that fight in the woods." *I begin to charge a Plasma Beam* "I've upgraded this since I last saw you."
-
She tilts her head to the side, her smirk unfazed. She really is a beautiful woman, under the devious, cunning exterior. "JJ? Is that you? Heavens, it's been too long. How are you? You look thin."
-
*As she tilts her head, I feel a burning rage building up inside of me, and I feel the insatiable urge to destroy her as quickly and efficiently as possible.* "And you look anorexic. Death probably does that to a person. Speaking of death, how's that nice scar?"
-
"I'm afraid I don't know what you're referring to, my friend. I'm as healthy and anorexic as I've always been, according to you that is."
-
"You don't remember falling on a fence post? Seriously? Huh. Also, I never did get that sword... I guess I'll have it now. Any snarky remark before I begin to unleash hellfire on you, Bellicose?"
-
She readjusts her head to its upright position. In lure of any facial expression, she permits her powers to manifest behind her. Eight spidery appendages emerge from the lady's back and plant themselves into the earth just before the gates. The gates themselves lead to a long arched bridge, the only access route to the city. The gates open behind her only slightly. "No, not really. I figure I let another talk, as to not stoke your rage." June leaps into the air, just dodging a tethered bullet underneath her feet. The bullet, which you can see emerged from the gates, immediately pierces your armor, exploding into a grapple after eating your body. The tether attached reels in, pulling you to the ground. The airborne June expected such brash behavior. She landed on top of you, putting one aciculate leg into your wrists and shins, crucifying you on the ground. She is careful not to penetrate your arm cannon, but instead trap it with four limbs. The final limb slowly descends to your neck, hovering just above the armor. She laughs a cocky laugh as she looks down on the trapped you. "You really must despise me enough to to disregard your own safety. It's amusing to know such feisty people exist. It'll make my one with you all that more fun."
-
"I don't need safety when I'm cursed to live." *I quickly swap beams, and pull the trigger of my cannon. A high-pitched screech bursts out of my cannon, deafening to anyone without specially designed equipment. Taking advantage of any surprise or stun, I immediately curl up into a ball and lay down a Power Bomb, and throw enough energy into this one to level half a city block. *I lay one separate regular bomb to blow up quickly without rupturing the Power Bomb, and throw me out of June's grasp.* *I get up, and sprint away, activating the Speed booster and trying to pick the bullet away from my Vibranium layer of armor. There's a massive dent in the Vibranium, and a hole in the layer before it. Thanks to the speed booster, I'm running at least 60 MPH.* *By the time I'm out of range, there's seven seconds left on the timer.*
