Then why is Suros, red death, or Truth being ascended?

Because they aren't thorns. They require a little more of an adept hand. I don't want to make this a post about thorn being an op pvp weapon.

Plus Thorn will still continue to be viable in crucible anyway. What we are talking about is in PvE. And anyone's choice of weapons in PvE should be nobody else's concern. It doesn't affect you in the least. If I like Thorn to take down the Taken... It should remain a viable option for me.

I'm not talking about Thorn. I'm talking about Vex Mythoclast, or Mida Multitool, or Hard Light, or Necrocasm... Red death, The last word, are abused much more than any of those... Yet they move forward. Makes no sense.

We should be finding new different weapons, not simply rehashing our old favorites. Our arsenal should be expanding, not being swapped out.
