I think all the local hive (as in our general chunk of universe) are ruled by Xol. Oryx may be a god in the next class of the hive hierarchy and each God has their own spawn. Xol has spawn to Oryx, oryx has direct spawn called blood of oryx, and crota who has direct spawn that descend to the hidden swarm. In a less confusing way: Eir: (Unknown) Ur: (Unknown) Yul: (Unknown) Xol: Oryx --> Blood of oryx Crota --> Spawn of Crota The Hidden Swarm [spoiler]there may be more hive of crota or oryx's class in the Destiny universe.[/spoiler]
