After exam answers Me: how come I got this wrong? Teacher: what is the question? Me: calculate the angle Answer=67degrees Teacher: you were not precise enough. You wrote 70 degrees. You were off by 3 degrees Or Teacher in history Teacher: 2134 B.C came after 2078 B.C Me: How it actually goes is 2134 is before 2078 because it is a countdown towards 0 Then, it goes up after Jesus is born. Teacher: is that not what I just said?

  • You're actually at fault for that first one. It might have been acceptable to have .00003°, but not 3°. When calculating angles, at longer ranges, even the smallest error can result in the line being many miles off of course. That's why 3°, while it's only 3, is still a huge error.
