The truth about the biggest corporations (Activision for e.g) is that they put efficiency and the all mighty $ ahead of EVERYTHING else. NO exceptions.
If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense.
My take is that Bungie have some really talented staff, that are capable of much more than what Activision has allowed.
Instead Activision has taken bungie's vision of what destiny could be and streamlined it into the most cost effective, digital heroine it could manage.
I work for one of the worlds largest companies, and collectively the people that call the shots are the greediest, most ruthless, deceitful collection of individuals on the planet.
When money is the only motivator for a project, as far as Activision is concerned, you have to expect extreme levels of exploitation/manipulation , for both Bungie and the consumer.
