I don't get any of this. This was over him not getting his earned stocks. This has nothing to do about you or us. This is about him getting what he's due and what they were trying to hold from him. A little sneaky and devious, but again; it has nothing to do with you or me.
He was upset that he didn't get his music in the trailers or 100% full control over music / dialog in game. He created disruptions and they fired him. They tried to go back on the contract and hold his shares, but he sued over it and won. That's what happened.

People are trying to use this as saying Bungie changed the game because Activision put pressure on them. I do agree Activision as a publisher interfers way to much in the creative side of the development of the game. As a publisher they do have some say but not as much as they try to take.
