All those employees work together on the same game and have to work with one another day in and day out. You don't just fire people who are extremely important in your companies origin and success. You're basically either best friends after that many years.
Are you saying you'd fire you're best friend and not pay him his hard earned money because he got jealous and spoke ups few times because he was being cheated out of all his hard work.
He did his work because he wanted the fans of destiny, you, me, and millions of others to enjoy Destiny and his artistic work. He could of just said cool, don't use my music, you still have to pay me though. But no he was passionate about his work and tried to stand up for himself, his work and all the other composers out there.
That's a rare quality in people these days. I hope he finds a new home soon and makes more masterpieces because he deserved much better than how Bungie and Activision treated him.
