I'm warming up to Armor of Light if the placement is [i]perfect[/i], especially on small maps. I have no doubt that Armor can be more potent than BoL, if more predictable. But WoL Efrideent Spear can hold down [i]Everything within your Gaze[/i].

Efrideets can do that anyways, WoL just invites people to charge you. I think it's a joke when someone places a WoL bubble cause basically anything can kill you at that point. BoL and AoL is better for sprees and PvE whilst WoL is a risk/reward because you can still be beat very easily.

Unless it has Final Round, and that's such a huge waste of Ammo that it negates a Sniper's ability to control traffic lanes in exchange for a handful of kills. I try to place my WoD so enemies must run across [i]a lot[/i] of open ground if they want to rush me, or get a lucky spawn flip pincer with another member of their team. I usually have more than enough time to kill people before they're anywhere close with either my Spear or my Primary unless I'm pinched, I derp, or I'm forced to Panic Bubble. I find that the only guns I have to fear is another sniper, and WoD lends me a huge advantage when counter-sniping.
