Even tho it takes several DAYS just to fire 1 halo BY IT SELF let alone in sequence with the entire network?

It doesnt have to, star destroyers can destroy the rings 1 by 1 (star destroyers also travel FTL FASTER than the death star: You destroy 1 halo, the firing spool up sequence has to reset which gives you time to travel to the next one destroy it and repeat
