You can't prove god is not real. Both arguments are invalid because there is no right or wrong answer

  • Uh, yes, there is a right or wrong answer. He's either real or he's not. Dumbass.

  • To some people he is to some, not. It still astounds me how close minded Americans are

  • 1) Not american, idiot. Don't make assumptions. You'll just embarrass yourself. 2) No, he's either real or he's not. It's a fact. If I had a box, and I asked you "is there a blue ball in here", it's not a matter of opinion. There either is, or isn't.

  • lol there is a right and wrong answer. There is just no solid proof to back up the existence of God.

  • Denying that there is an answer to that question shows your fear and ignorance.

  • Fear and ignorance? Are you implying I believe in God? Just so you know I'm an atheist and don't go around assuming things because you are so unwilling to admit you're wrong. Also if there is a right or wrong answer would you mind telling me which is right and which is wrong?

  • There either is a god or there isn't. There is no option C. Things cannot be proven without facts. So if you are making claims that you cannot back up with fact how can you claim it to be true? It instead becomes an opinion only. And opinions do not mean anything. I am unsure how you can seem that as possibly "wrong." So please explain.

  • I mean there is no right or wrong answer and if you think opinions mean nothing then you're logic is flawed. The option C is that God exists for those that believe and not for those that don't. You can't prove or disprove this just like the other arguments. Essentially because neither can be proven right or wrong there is no right or wrong answers just opinions

  • Nah, diesel has you there, there is a right and wrong answer we just don't know it yet.

  • Neither can be proven or disproven currently. Doesn't mean there is no right or wrong answer. Remember not long ago people also thought the earth was flat and the sun revolved around it. Look how that turned out for them.

  • Yes but that's talking about two things that already exist. We don't even know if anything around him exists and could point to him existing. Basically I should have said this before because after reading what I said I did not make this clear at all, he could exist but we will never be able to search far enough to find him. By the time the human race dies out we wouldn't have been able to search everywhere to find him. So that means he could exist but by the amount we search for him won't be everything we could have searched so he could exist but we couldn't find him so we will never have a conclusive answer. My point of view anyway

  • No. God cannot actually exist for some and not for others. God either exists or doesn't. Opinions is what keeps "belief" alive. But opinion is not always driven by fact and at times ignores facts to support your own bias belief. A prime example of "opinion" ignoring fact is the anti-vax movement.

  • Opinion is the very thing that keeps society standing. You vote for president/prime minister because you're opinion is he'll be the best out of all the candidates. At work you're opinion may change the outcome of a particular project. What about even in Destiny where people opinions on thorn/tlw being to strong and auto rifles being too weak changed the game (hopefully for the better)

  • Opinion has a massive influence in society. But opinion is not and will never be of the same regard as fact. Some people are of the opinion that apes and humans are not related. Yet our DNA is 99% identical to that, which means we have a common ancestor. People are of the opinion that vaccines are bullshit. Yet they function on the same manner as a normal virus in stimulating a response in the humane immune system. There are even dumbasses who are of the opinion that Catholics and Christians are totally different, when Catholicism is in fact Christian. Opinion is a bias belief. Fact is exactly that. Fact. Opinion is the medium between knowledge and ignorance. Opinions do not affect facts. But facts should affect opinions, and do, if you are rational.
