Stephenson opens the door and hands Shiroe the keys. [i]Here you go.[/i] Inside the other room is a massive bed, a separate kitchen, a bathroom made almost entirely of marble, and other fairly luxurious amenities.

*She immediately jumps on top of the bed, a muffled sigh coming from the covers* "I'm...... Gonna take a nap....."

Stephenson chuckles. [i]Same here. It's pretty late.[/i] [spoiler]Going to sleeps nao. Bai.[/spoiler]

[b]Some 10 hours later...[/b] Stephenson wakes up, and performs his usual breakfast ritual of toast and orange juice. He quietly opens the connector door and sets a plate of the same on the counter in Shiroe's apartment.

"Uuuuhhhhhh......" *Shiroe, arms raised like a zombie, wanders over and stares at the food* "Fooooooooooood" *She picks up the tray and goes and sits down on one of the chairs in the room. She picks up a piece of toast and stares at it for a bit before dunking it in the orange juice* "Yuuummm....." *She takes a bite, and muffled squeal of delight reaches Stephenson's ears*

The detective leans in the door. [i]Once you're ready, we need to get moving.[/i]

[b]5 mins later[/b] *Shiroe strides out, her uniform hidden beneath a dark grey cloak* "Ready."

The pair quickly exit. [i]Alright, so our first stop is the public CPD directory. Then, we'll head to the morgue and the crime scene.[/i]

"Ugh. Dead bodies. Hate dead bodies, they always watch me."

The detective cracks a grin. [i]Don't worry, I'm just grabbing a coroner's report.[/i]

"Yea yea." *She shivers* "It's still creepy though..."

He turns to her. [i]I get that. If you don't want to go in, that's ok.[/i]

"Thanks...."

[i]No problem.[/i] Stephenson ducks inside the morgue. Through the door, an awful stench makes itself manifest. Whatever state those cadavers are in, it's not good.

*Shiroe sighs and walks across the street, avoiding cars along the way. She arrives at her destination, an unoccupied bench*

Stephenson exits a few minutes later.

*She waves*

[i]Ok, this might be a Psionic we're after. His victims are in literal pieces.[/i]

"Pieces? Ouch. That means we are gonna have to knock him out cold just to get close." *She flicks her wrist and a baton slides into it* "Just a love tap, eh?"

Stephenson nods. [i]Something like that. We'll need to case the neighborhood first, of course.[/i]
