Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But then again, everyone on the Halo side would also die from the Halo Ring's explosion, so it would be a stalemate.

Halo rings can be shot in a precise beam too, going so far that can target single specific ships. Also; there are shield worlds which negate the Halo-effect.
