Edited by Korbain: 9/6/2015 3:42:15 PMProbably because most of the staff agree with marty haha theyre like yes marty, get the truth out there!
-
Edited by BeanTwenty3: 9/6/2015 4:43:36 PMExcept Marty (in his and bungies words) made employees and the boards life a living hell to get his songs released. Sounds like a kiddy threw a temper tantrum to me
-
I believe they are prohibited from mentioning anything about the case.
-
They aren't prohibited. The case isn't sealed. If you read the article you would see that journalists have asked them for comment.
-
Edited by furikakez: 9/6/2015 5:26:00 AMThey are. Any employee from any company can't comment about internal issues in an open forum, that would affect the company's image and by doing it could make them get fired. Common sense. Talking with journalists is different and even then, they need an special permission unless they do an anonymous interview.
-
This isn't an internal issue. It was an arbitration case with details widely available in the media. They aren't prohibited from speaking. They just need to get their talking points.
-
it would still be considered an internal problem by most companies and their employees can't comment freely. Even if you don't get fired, you don't gain anything by commenting in an open forum and have a lot to lose. Any smart employee wouldn't do it.
-
LOL K. I'm sure this unrepentant shitstorm over the forums and web is a lot better....

Randy

I'm not defending Bungie, that's how happens in the entire world and software companies are specially sensitive when it comes to speak openly. In these cases only the people on the top positions can talk about it. Don't blame the rest of employees. They are only doing their job.
-
Bullshit. The community managers can talk about it. It's their -blam!-ing job too. The people on top don't talk. That's what PR folks are for. -blam!-ing dumb desticle.
-
Edited by BeanTwenty3: 9/6/2015 4:45:48 PMNo the community managers job is to relay information to bungie and relay information that bungie want us to know to us he's not for freedom of speech
-
by your attitude I assume you're very young. Let's talk about it again in 10 years.
-
K. Enjoy the Marty shitstorm in the meantime!
-
The forums are not supernatural. Posting a thread about them doesn't forcefully summon them. Put your tinfoil hat down.
-
Community managers are supposed to be monitoring the forums. And when a topic hits like this, the only way to ignore it is willfully.
-
implying they can see all of the thousands of threads at once. Going further down that rabbit hole will only be bad for you.
-
Implying they can't press the trending topics button. Your delusions of Bungies sainthood is hilarious.
-
totally. Just because I don't hate them I think they are perfect and or like every decision they have ever made. Try again.
-
Edited by Red Motive: 9/6/2015 3:47:25 AMKeep clutching at those straws. Maybe you'll find one you like.
-
So is that why you are breathlessly defending them from the latest shitstorm of their own creation?
-
They might not be allowed or are told not to.
-
They used to be taken down back when this actually happened.
