"Five miles until we reach them."
[b]A mech jumps off of a building and chases Donovan.[/b]
"It had to be now, huh Lester?"
[b]He shoots his turrets, damaging the mech and dodges the incoming fire.[/b]
[b][u]Catherine and Ellie[/u][/b]
[b]Three figures jump out at Ellie and Catherine and shoot at them. The girls use their shield projectors to bounce the bullets away.[/b]
"Looks like Lester's mad."
"Yep."

[b]Donovan's Comms come to life.[/b] [b]Comms:[/b] [i]"Donovan, what the hell are you doing?"[/i]

"Not much, just just trying to get to my sister. Oh, and a mech is chasing me."

[b]Comms:[/b] "Need some help with that?"

"Probably, sending you my coordinates now."

"Alright, on my way." [b]He summon his Dreadon bike and speeds down to the coordinates. [/b]

[b]He sees a EDN-3 mech not too far in front of him chasing a dradon which is swerving out of the way of the bullets.[/b]

[b]The mech stops and falls over. Donovan speaks through the comms.[/b] "Thanks, you might want to move."

"Huh? What do you mean move?" [b]He gets on his Dreadon and speeds away[/b]

[b]Donovan shoots the mech with his turrets and it explodes.[/b] "That's what I mean. Thanks for the help."

[b]Donovan speeds away to find Ellie and Catherine fighting the hit men.[/b] "Fuçk you Lester." He says to himself. [b]Donovan charges one of the hit men and punches him in the throat. The man falls to the ground and Ellie takes a swing at another one, sending him backwards into Donovan, who twists his neck. The last one charges Catherine with a knife. She kicks him in the crotch and grabs the knife, which she throws at his face, killing him.[/b] "So, does Dominic know anything about this blackout?" "I don't, but I do know that more hit men are coming to your position." "Then let's fight."

[b]Comms to all three of them:[/b] "I heard you guys say you have some people coming for you. I don't know why but I'll ask questions later. As for you guys. My scans show a lot of them heading your way. I trust you guys can fight. So I'll watch your blind side." [b]They see the glint of a sniper scope in a building far away.[/b]

Donovan blasts his shoulder projector at one of the hit men, sending him flying at the car. The man is knocked unconscious as Catherine grabs Ellie and teleports behind behind two men. Catherine uses the knife to kill one as Ellie slams the other in the back of the head with a power glove.[/b]

[b]The last hit man drops and the loud [i]Boom[/i] of a sniper echoes through the city. He quickly slides the bolt back and slams it forward chambering another bullet. He watches the team fight and carefully placed a shot into the engine of one car. He slows his breathing and pulls the trigger. The farthest car away from them explodes and is turned into a great ball of fire.[/b]

[b]Donovan gets the drop on two of the remaining hit men with his blades as Catherine throws the knife at one and Ellie fires a blast from her powerglove at the last one. They regroup and Donovan tells Etana his story.[/b] "Ellie and I were sent away when we were born. There was a man named Lester Harcrow who killed our parents to take their money. My newer parents who took me in were captured with me and were killed. Lester's men implanted me in a painful procedure, but I broke out. Catherine is Ellie's friend who she grew up with. Lester is now trying to tie up loose ends, but we have a plan to stop him. Thanks for the help. I need to find my friend, you should go see what else is happening."

[b]The glint of the scope disappears and Etana appears next to them from a power line. Electricity flows in and out of his body then stops. He takes his face mask off and looks at all of them. [/b] "I'm sorry for your loss. You guys must live a tough life."

"Thanks, Lester will get payback soon. Tell me if you need anything."

"No problem Donovan, and if anything let me know if you need anything. You'll need it more than me."
