According to the article he felt hurt that they created their own separate trailer and didn't use the music he created for Destiny. He complained to them, they denied his request for them to use the music he created in place of theirs. He complained to Bungie, they supported him and complained to Activision. Activision denied them. This is over a trailer for E3 mind you. After that incident he became disruptive at meetings and continued to protest. Activision threatened that if his behavior continued they would cancel their contract with Bungie (which means he must have done some really bad stuff). He went on a vacation later and when he got back, the team complained that he was uncooperative and underperforming. All good reasons for any company to fire an individual, co-founder or not. Maybe your viewpoint is changed because you haven't seen this kind of stuff before and maybe haven't worked at any large companies or studios to know that this shit happens pretty frequently all over.
