At least it's realistic in that sense. Too bad thats the only realistic point it has. Battlefield has large scale realism but ballistics are still shitty. None of the soldiers in BF (mainly speaking for 3 and 4) use a class V ballistic vest. Meaning no hardened steel plating in armor. The most a vest would take is 1 hit of any of the .30 caliber rounds before failing. Meaning it would incapacitate (since that's what the game counts as kill) with 2 hits. Yet players can take 4-5 shots easy without dying. Or for snipers, the cheyenne tactical intervention (which uses 10.4x77mm rounds) doesn't kill in 1 hit to the chest. Which is hilarious bullshit. That round would go through steel plating because its designed to, as well as .338LM. So at least CoD got that right. Too bad none of the big name game developers realize: 1) how easy it is to aim a weapon without ADS 2) real ballistics 3) that walking , muzzle drift, etc have a negligible effect to bullet trajectory on targets under 1 mile distance 4) This one kills me... Because of the system an aek uses to fire, it fires 2 round bursts....

  • Yeah I do agree that CoD snipers are realistic but the ability for people to run around the map and quickscope people to get kills can get out of hand and to overpowered at times.

  • Yup. There's no such thing as quick scoping. So make it so the gun physically can't shoot until fully zoomed. And add in an aiming system as well. I can shoulder a mosin nagant and hit what would be a person's chest 30 meters away without ADS. Why can't video games do that?
