He was fired with cause. I'm surprised a court ordered Bungie to give him back his equity.
It was a bad move on bungies part to not try and buy him out when they fired him though.

There was no cause to fire him Ryan was afraid he would hurt the relationship between shitvision and Bungie that's the only reason he wanted him fired someone that co-founded Bungie -blam!- ryan

Not when it isn't in the best interest of the company. He was putting his ego ahead of that. That's why he was fired. Ego. Look at it this way, do you think he accepted everything that his staff composed for him? I doubt it. I bet he had to make decisions and not choose some of his teams ideas. Do you think would have been acceptable for his team member to make negative public statements about his bosses decision?
