Microsoft stole Halo, and made them turn Halo into garbage.
They OWN Destiny, and all of it's assets, according to their Activision contract.
Which would you rather stay with? The baby-daddy that stole your baby from you, or the one that's helping you raise it?

On a side note, the Halo 5 BETA was great. Must have played more of it in a month than all of D****** PvP combined.

Halo 5 looks boring as hell, and I'd say I watched a fair amount of the beta.

I have no right answer for that. Bungie sold the Halo IP to Microsoft, I'm sure they could have cut a deal like they did with Activision with retaining the IP rights, but I'm sure all the zeros on the check made the decision for them.
