Actually, he wasn't fired for that at all.
He was fired for being a Debby Downer, bringing company morale down, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the reason Destiny was delayed.
Bungie knew Activision wanted him fired, but instead, they gave him a lecture at their next board meeting, but he didnt care, he still keep feeding negative emotions.
I'm not saying he should not have gotten his money back, he should have, but he got himself fired, this is just acting out.
