If Activision messed with the music then for sure they messed with the story. Even [b]Marcus Lehto[/b] is gone.
Seriously, this is really disappointing, for the first time since Pathways Into Darkness Im disgusted with Bungie.

No games means that socialists like you would have nothing to complain about. Last time I checked this was still a capitalist society that we live in. Thank god bungie is worried about profits.

That is the difference between high quality western manufacturers making to a standard and (most of) the terrible imported Chinese garbage. There's a fine balance you come to expect from a western company, and Activision are recycling money hungry franchise milkers.

What a mess, I was following the game from way back before the name was even announced and to finally see what was going on behind the scenes is disgusting. The game we got was a product of a bad relationship with satan and his cash greedy servant. My wallet will not waste its time with any more of this games shite. Such a shame, they could have had a REALepic here, however they just don't. Simply only having good gunplay will not last ten years. Eventually people will find another game they can hang out with friends in that does not take advantage of weak minded souls. Lastly, the disgustingly aggressive DLC practices that Activision and bungie have will turn people away eventually... Its all a matter of time. Would love to hear the full story from Joseph and Marty someday.

5 RepliesAll I have to say is Bungie went to bed with Activision and you sold your soul. You are not the company that I fell for with Halo and have lost what made you Bungie. You guys feel like a bunch of sell outs now instead of artists and Activision has killed something great. You get what comes to you. Microsoft clearly was a much better publisher. You did a deal with the Devil, Bungie, and you lost big.

1 ReplyWe knew this over a year ago. Bungie dev already said they regret leaving Microsoft for Activision. Redbull codes, £20 for a dance move, reduced content for players not willing to invest a lifetime commitment to the game... Things will change for the better but I'm guessing not until 2017.

Marty O'Donnel was fired for being a constant negative influence on the morale of his team, and other Bungie employees. Committing multiple cases of insubordination - even then Bungie defended him against Activision, until he just wouldn't stop. The Law did not take his side for him being fired, the Law took his side because Bungie attempted to retain his shares after he was fired - which is illegal. Him being fired was not illegal, he was purposely disobeying the higher ups in his workplace - in which you young kids would know this if you had ever worked a job before.
