I wouldn't dismiss the idea out of hand completely, but I would lean towards not likely. The Hive and the Vex are very alien to us; their motivations (particularly the Vex) are practically unknown, although it's clear the Hive want to wipe out any and all Light. The Cabal are simply a military society, and the ones we've come across are running from The Darkness/Oryx and we're simply in their way. They have similar interests in the Vex because they believe Vex technology holds the key to surviving and winning against whatever horrors are coming. The Fallen (Eliksni) are even easier for us to relate to; the Traveler visited them once, then left causing a collapse of their society (same as what almost happened to us if it weren't for Rasputin). They simply want the Traveler back. In fact, it's hinted that they want us to share the Traveler with them, but we aggressively prevented that, so they probably see us as evil and themselves as good.
