Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of useful things on them, but the melee isn't great on damage and takes two hits with all aside from the backstab, no grenade is really great on it, none can kill multiple enemies alone other than tripmine which would only be if a group walked in to it at the same time. The other classes have better melee as well as grenade in my opinion. both have supers that pretty much guarantee a kill when used, while hunters take planning to do much with if you are going against anyone decent.
