He spent hours talking to Bungie about this? I'm kind of inclined to think it couldn't be anything but troll that accounts for why Titans are so bad, or at least rendered obsolete by comparison.
Anyways, I think that Fist of Havoc should be able to proc Transfusion. It would make Strikers more like a Spearhead than a reactive control class. I always felt like the risk of death after Fist of Havoc made the super really exposed in a way it shouldn't be. There should be a reason why getting close isn't a weakness. With Transfusion, Fist of Havoc would allow Titans to smash into a group of enemies, and then fight off the remaining few. As of now, its a suicide super. Nova Bomb by comparison has the range that makes it good on both defense and offense; its really strong but not OP in its own right.

Edited by Deadlymedics911: 9/4/2015 3:50:02 AMI always wished there was some sort of exotic that would give transfusion to super kills for the Titan. Warlocks have the Apotheosis Veil (which regenerates health on activation, making panic nova bombs much easier) and hunters have Hungering Blade, allowing for full sweeps of teams. The animation for FoH is what seems to kill me the most. I'll get a kill or two with the smash, and while waiting to stand back up, I get sniped or shot gunned. Every other super can be activated in the air and it'll push you a short distance, but Ward of Dawn drops you like a brick, and FoH has an unpredictable lob to it. Just my 2 cents

Hungering Blade is super good. I've seen Hunters tank my shots like no other because they kill others while I am shooting them. I think it makes more sense for the Titan to get some kind of regeneration with Fist of Havoc than it does for a Hunter with Bladetrance. Bungie all the time says that Hunters are the best class. That really lends me to think that they aren't really looking for the perfect balance, or even necessarily the obvious balance. Some things suffer from poor implementation, like how Warlock Palm is so much better than Titan Punch or Hunter Knife. It makes sense for Warlocks to try to keep their distance, being space wizards. It just isn't implemented correctly, and just comes across wrong.

Agreed about the melees. The way I look at it is the hunters should be a quicker melee with reduced damage (promotes close quarter style gun play). Warlocks should have a ranged one without granting a shield on hit (kill would be fine). Titans should have a really slow but incredibly powerful melee with medium reach, not as long as warlocks but further than hunters. If the melee is charged, it should be a one hit kill. This wouldn't be OP because how strong shotguns have become.

I like those ideas.
