[b]He moves to grab an unused bag from an empty checkout. He speed walks to the XXL section, where he shoves a couple pairs of jeans and some plaid shirts in it.
He moves through the racks of clothing towards the sneakers, and grabs a pair he likes, then heads for the exit.[/b]

You walk out without any alarms going off. You begin walking down the street and notice a cyborg munching on an apple on the curb

[b]Kyle hardly spares him a glance, then continues moving.[/b]

"You know I could call the cyber police. Stealing is a serious crime." The cyborg turned around and said.

[b]He scoffs.[/b] "I paid for dis shit."

"Really? Well with my X-Ray vision shows no receipt in that bag."

"Plus I hacked into the security cameras in there and saw everything, ready to confess?" The cyborg stood up and stared you dead in the eyes

Jack popped out his wrist blade and began sharpening it. "So how long have you been in the city?"

"Uhh... About a couple days..."

"Yeah? What brings you here?" Jack said

"My family sold the farm where we lived to a construction company. I decided that it was a good opportunity for a fresh start and let them keep the money they got from the deal."

[spoiler]sry I fell asleep[/spoiler] Jack retracts the blade and looks at you "You need to watch out, these cities are teeming with criminals and low life's willing to kill you for nothing more than the pleasure." Jack held up his palm and you see the sigil again "This means I've gone through a lot of pain to get where I am now, and you're not going to get in my way."

[b]He raises an eyebrow.[/b] "If you just stopped a random civilian just to give me a warning, then you have more than a couple issues. And I don't much appreciate it."

"Oh I can sense trouble when I see it, and a punk like you can cause a lot of trouble, especially a golem."

[b]His face turns into a grimace, and his voice is laced with anger.[/b] "I'm gonna tell you this once. After I move on, I have no intention of 'finding you' or whatever it is your paranoid ass thinks I'm gonna do. But if you so much as pass by me on the same street, I will assume the worst, and I will break your circuits into silicon dust." "You stay out of my way, I'll stay out of yours. Kapeesh?"

Jack picks you up by your throat and leans in close "So, you aren't so happy about being a golem are you? People call you a freak?" Jack releases you and you crumple to the pavement
