How is defender useless for pvp? I run it specifically in trials and I have about a 1.3 k/d. In normal control, I run striker and have a 1.2. Yes, I know I don't have the best k/ds, but defender is very much useable in pvp
Ok. Good for you. Just because one player is good with the class doesn't mean anything in terms of balance. I mean, I could use the worst character/gun in any game and win if I were good enough, but it doesn't change the fact that what I used is the worst.
Too lazy to type that out again.

Well, if people took the time to learn how to use it correctly, it would be a problem. Except everyone nowadays just wants to run warlock, the easiest class to pick up and do well with.

Don't hate too much on all warlocks. I mailed a warlock day one. Yeah some are scummy. Some do pick them up to do better but on games I usually play the warlock or the range type class in games. I picked him up because I actually wanted to use him and become good with him so I wouldn't want to use other characters which worked until tdb when I decided I wanted to try one of each class but that's beside the point. And with self res that didn't pull me into the warlock class. I didn't think when I saw that Oh I can do whatever die and come back I used Nova bomb til the end of vanilla destiny before I decided to try sunsinger. Still prefer void walker because it is actually fun compared to holding a super for years waiting to die then using it to come back. Not trying to say all warlocks are like that. Because a lot aren't but not all warlocks are bad and/or douches.

When did I say warlocks were bad? I just said they are the easiest class

I was saying they were bad all I /think/ you said is that most people go with them lately because they want to do good and are the easiest class.
