Where was Naomie before Glasslands? Why wasn't she with the other Spartan IIs for Red Flag?

I'm waiting for more Naomi after the kilo five trilogy as well.

Well as it is there's no logical reason she should exist other than Traviss didn't read any of the canon. So what the explanation for her coming out of nowhere?

I'm working through all the novels now so I'm not fully informed on the extended universe but I was always under the impression that there were quite a few Spartan II's that we never met or heard of. There was thirty or so that completed\survived thev program.
