we are in a simulation inside Rasputin?
Its a common theory that the Vex create simulations because of Ghost Fragment: Vex 3(and 1/2 but I am only using 3 in this post)
however, when they say to bring a Warmind in, who they claim is bigger than the vex, they claim the Vex would not be able to simulate it.
If the Warmind is that much more powerful than the Vex, what's stopping it from creating its own simulations?
And maybe that's why Rasputin is the last remaining Warmind. Because the other Warminds are too unpredictable for Rasputin, so he just excluded them from the simulation.
EDIT: I thought this was a pretty neat theory, why the "no" vote? give me your opinion.
EDIT 2: these are the lines i am referring to;

SUNDARESH: If we're sims, we exist in the pocket of the universe that the Vex specimen is able to simulate with its onboard brainpower. If we're real, we need to get outside that bubble.
ESI: ...we call for help.
SUNDARESH: That's right. We bring in someone smarter than the specimen. Someone too big to simulate and predict. A warmind.
SHIM: In the real world, the warmind will be able to behave in ways the Vex can't simulate. It's too smart. The warmind may be able to get into the Vex and rescue - us.

EDIT 3: a friendly reminder to bump if your mind either melted or you agree in any way
Temporary EDIT: OP is currently unavailable due to him commuting home via an underground train service

Edited by A Rising Wind: 9/3/2015 2:10:34 PMRead vex 4. They are actually using proxy bodies thru Rasputin in order to introduce mind replicas of themselves into the vex network. It also states Rasputin saved them from being trapped in the vex simulation (one in vex cards 1-3). So this implies that 1) they know/are aware when they are in rasputins simulation and 2) he's helping. Plus, how much of a bummer would year ten be to find out the whole game was just some AIs dream. This isn't Dallas. :) Ps. Vex 4 card is very interesting card, and sort of under the radar in that it was introduced as part of HoW, and the only non wolves related grimoire. I think it is indicating the next round of DLC will be about vex.

Interesting. Also it said somewhere that either all rasputins attempt to fight the darkness either failed or had a 100% chance to fail in his simulation

I had a theory similar while back

So, we're potentially inside a Warmind simulation, sumulating a Vex simulation? But what if we're inside a Vex simulation simulating a Warming simulation of a Vex simulation? I need to lie down now.

Edited by ItsKessler: 9/3/2015 2:03:19 PMBRUH THIS IS INTENSE What if in the far future, Rasputin made the Vex to go back in time and warn the humans not to worship the traveller BUT the got out of control and went back too far and realized that they could re create themselves without the help of Rasputin

I've heard this months ago, but still I like this theory.

A Warmind may be smarter than a Vex unit, but not the Axis Mind. If anything they'd be controlling the simulation. There is a reason Rasputin is thought to be the last Warmind. All others fell, while he shutdown to survive

You look beautiful today ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Interesting theory, and its certainly possible that Rasputin creates his own simulations, but I don't think we're actively living that simulation out as we play.

Isn't this just the matrix films ????

I'm saying no to avoid the possibility of going insane about thinking that I am not real and that I do not exist.
-
I'm voting "no" simply because you didn't actually present an argument in support of your claim.
-
Cool theory that presents new questions that I have not thought about.

Its an interesting theory, but I hope it not real. Having this game end and us finding out we aren't real would be lame asf
