I got another idea, the Vex are going back in time to reverse what happened in vanilla Destiny. You are sent back as well to try and stop them, getting to partake in epic battles like Twilight Gap, the Raid on the Moon and the Reef Wars only that the Vex are now involved in it. For dlc (if this was a separate game) it would add on other battles that we may not have even known about. I think that that makes for a pretty good game. It would help to fill in some of the backstory on these battles and get to see it in action.

Would love to go back in time to stop the vex from interfering in the battle between wielders of Thorn and The Last Word. Always wanted a CGI cutscene of that fight, and to hear what the last words were...

Love this idea! Maybe in the DLC after that the Vex could even make a vex capable of disguising itself as a human and send it back in time to kill the Speaker's mother before he was ever born, completely crushing the human defiance! And then we could send an Exo named Arnold (disguised as a human) back in time to stop them and.....I may have just stepped into some copyright trouble...
