I expect to learn more about The Nine and whether they are allies or enemies over the course of the game, not in one expansion alone. The next expansion will involve the Vex and I'm expecting it to take place on Mercury. The machine there needs to be explained. The following expansion, Forge of Gods, will involve the Cabal, which may have us killing their emperor, the empire itself, or striking an alliance at the end. If there is an alliance, whether that alliance is with the Cabal or some other race is hard to predict. If we destroy the emperor or empire, it's possible a new enemy will take their place, leading to the start of Year 3 with a new major title release. With Year 3-4, I expect more Hive gods to come, if not all, and an alliance with the Fallen or more likely, the emergence of the true Kell of Kells as the prophecy predicts.
