Precisely. Forcing the community to lay down their gear that they grinded hundreds of hours for just to make the new weapons look good is disrespectful. The other cardinal sin here is the lack of communication. Could you imagine an open and honest communication to the community? I believe any sort of recognition of the community's main gripes would quell a great deal of the issues. "Dear guardians, we recognize some of the issues you've brought up and appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. We see issues like forcing you to play the way we think you should play, we see issues like no dedicated servers, we know the pricing for non U.S. Players and intend to refund unfair pricing, we recognize there have been missteps along the way. We are grateful for your continued support even when you're frustrated because we don't see it as trolling but rather an upset community who wants to see the game we promised originally. Give us time and allow us to be open about what we hope to improve about destiny." Could you imagine the overwhelming support for such a communication?
