Everyone seems so stuck on wanting to use the same weapon all the time, and some are just pissed they don't get an OP exotic to play with, the changes are great, but people are too stuck in the lesser past of this game when many others want to see it get better with TTK coming out

Use the same gun? Thats not it, all we want is to be able to use the best guns, if the new guns are better than we would go for them, if theyre not we wont its as simple as that, and since destiny already lacks content taking away half of content is a bad idea. If the new guns are that good then there should be no problem for them to compete and beat the old guns, but it seems like bungie is too scared because they used up all theyre great ideas at the begining now theyre just doing random stuff, *cough cough* a fricking ak *cough cough*. But all we want is variety and the best, you gotta admit if you already have like best gun you won't exchange it for something weaker right?

It's an AK that shoots chain lightning, that's cool and you know it. And there cannot always be a better gun, it would lead to oneshot weapons in every class to everything, so your logic of "we'll get the next best thing" when all anyone wants is their handcannon with firefly, that is using the same gun, all the time, that is EXACTLY what most want, that's why people make up conspiracy theories about bungie, they don't get to play with the same old gun, if it was like that where I would only ever use an oversoul edict, I will want something new. When that time comes, people complain about not having new stuff. This community won't be happy, practically a minority actual enjoys this game, the rest get pissed when something wont go there way

Let me ask you one thing who's fault is it that people use handcannons? You really think people would use AR? Theyre freaking crap, and bungie is the one who did thay, before ARs were the best and hand cannons were the worst alongside the pulse rifles, now its the other way around, the "Best thing" is the weapon that Bungie favored, its not our fault the best thing are TLW, thorn or even fatebringer, it's bungie's fault for not balancing the the weapons enough, instead of patching it as soon as possible they prefer to wait months so they can do publicity with theyre dlc and while were talking about that originality yes it shoots arc damage thats cool, but heres the lazy part, one of it's perks is basically angel of light. Yep a fricking ability that already exist for warlocks (also useless since your a floating target for anything) that just shows how bungie is running out of ideas And people complain becausw bungie made those people complain, it's theyre fault if this game was the game they told us, they made us believe on e3 2013 then im sure as hell thay i would be playing it now. If bungie kept theyre word about not doing the whole tdb fiasco again, im sure as hell people wont be complaining right now. This can go on and on not just content but other problems too like connection issues and such, there are good qualities here and there but all in all, its like 75% bad and 25% good.

On the comment about the angel of light thing, that is supposed to be an exotic armor, not the weapon, I admit, yes the HC's are great for the dps the have, I personally love my auto-rifles, but "best" IMO is what is the most effective in groups , not just how much damage you can do to one guy with a small mag, the 2.0 update is at least REAL, so I'll take what I can get, it was lazy they waited this long, but I'm thankful it's finally here

Not sure about that search for destiny ak47, its not 100% sure yet but it has a perk called Overcranked, not sure what it does but you hover in mid air and then shoot just like angel of light does. Or maybe it was the armor idk. Scout were the best pve weapons, now theyre not really that good. They still are but meh not that much anymore since alot of people use HC now, my old Shadow Price is rotting on the vault thanks to the last patch.
